Conversare – not long off to being available online

Given that I have been consulting with lively people who are well versed in now rapidly growing ways of engaging with each other in this way.

And have been encouraged – and assured – that the time is now ripe to do this with Conversare. As the technology to do this is increasingly widely available.

As this makes possible for many people to benefit substantially from participating in a way in which they feel respected and included no matter what their background.

Starting with this ‘overview’:

Our conversations      Intelligence is a property

shape who we                           of conversation;

become.                                              the intelligence

We                                                             of the

grow                                                         open

as we notice                               space is a

participate and            property of the

flow together         conversations held there

Which I conceptualised ‘some time’ ago in relation to a particular kind of facilitated group conversations called Open Space Technology.
Of which I am a skilled practitioner and with which Conversare has similar foundations.

Among  these are:

Whoever comes are the right people.
Whatever happens is the only thing that could have.
Whenever it starts is the right time.
When it’s over, it’s over.
Wherever it happens is the right place.

From which you may appreciate that the quality of our lives is greatly influenced by how we relate to others…our family, colleagues, neighbours and other people with whom we connect for diverse purposes and reasons.

Perhaps by being reminded and inspired by contributions such as:

. This ‘observation’ from outer space of astronaut Chris Hadfield

. The wisdom of Pete Seeger, well known and much-admired folk singer and social and environmental activist. Who I had the great good fortune to visit at his home in Beacon, New York in 2010.

“Participation is the future of the human race. Participation in family life, participation in politics. Participation will save us, if we are saved.”

Here are a few items which may interest you about the origins of the Conversare way of engaging in conversation in social contexts.  And its underpinnings.
