Conversare – an integral component of the Adelaide Fringe 2017

This is a note to Adelaide residents about forthcoming Conversare events in the Adelaide Fringe 2017.

Hi Adventurous Spirits

As you are likely aware this is different from the myriad other events in this month long festival of fun.  In what way(s)?

Everybody who comes participates fully, is totally engaged throughout and contributes to ‘whatever happens’ by their presence.

There is no sitting back and watching. There is no stage. And there are no spectators!

For the lively interaction of all present in conversation in ‘duet dinners’ of pairs of strangers over fine food in the company of like minded others is the entertainment!

It is held in a truly beautiful place, this wondrous venue, Sarah’s Sisters Sustainable Café in the western suburb of Semaphore, dear to many of our hearts.

And the likely outcome of being a participant? While perhaps initially thinking ‘this is an unusual kind of entertainment’, it turns out to be most satisfying and enjoyable experiencing.

An outline of this event and to make bookings can be seen here.

I will be the host on Tuesday 28 Feb. Tim Walsh will be on Friday 3 March.

Please do remind your networks of this lovely local ‘happening’.

And what do you think of the idea of suggesting to some of your neighbours that they come along, as a way of making deeper connecting with them?

Looking forward.

Go well
